Intergenerational Communication Conflict in the Workplace
Do you know how many different generations are in your workplace? Do you realize that each of these groups communicate in a slightly different manner? As older workers are remaining in the workforce longer than before, our workplaces are multi-generational. This timely discussion of intergenerational communication demonstrates how these generations do not share the same expectations and choose to communication in very different ways. In addition, workers have different expectations and definitions of what it means to work. As such, it is imperative that workers understand and respect these differences – even if we don’t agree.
