Effective Verbal and Nonverbal Communication

Which is more important – the verbal message or the non-verbal behaviors that accompany the message?  This discussion will cover the basic of these two aspects of our communication style and detail how to be sure that the two match in order to ensure that the receiver of your message receives the message you intend to send.  We will begin with a discussion of message construction and begin to understand the impact of connotations versus denotations of words.    Further, an understanding of how we can send the correct nonverbals in different situations will be detailed.
